Catalina Luneburg

Catalina Luneburg is a highly experienced structural geologist with a significant background in gold and metal exploration. Currently serving as a Senior Structural Geologist at Newmont Corporation, Catalina focuses on developing 3D regional structural models and integrating various geophysical data for exploration efforts. As President of TerraEx Group since December 2016, Catalina oversees the firm's operations. Previous roles include Course Director at PetroSkills, where advanced industry training was provided, and Product Manager and Senior Scientist at Halliburton, emphasizing unconventional reservoir technologies. Catalina's expertise was also cultivated at Geo-Logic Systems and Midland Valley, specializing in structural geology consulting and software development. An academic foundation includes a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich and a Diploma from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
