Ernest Acheampong

Ernest Acheampong is an experienced maintenance engineer and advisor with over a decade of service at Newmont Corporation, where responsibilities have included parts and materials coordination and planning, as well as serving as a safety representative and mine maintenance technician. Prior experience includes a role as a process plant engineering technician at NGRL from August 2011 to January 2015. Ernest has an academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained from September 2022 to September 2023, a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University College of Management Studies, and a City and Guilds certificate in Mechanical Engineering completed through Newmont's graduate training program. Additionally, training in maintenance planning and scheduling was achieved through the Road to Reliability Academy in 2020.
