Francis Gauman

Francis Gauman is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in production geology, currently serving as a Senior Production Geologist at Newmont Corporation since 2017. Prior to this role, Francis held positions at UNLPam as an unpaid intern in both the Metaliferous and Non-Metaliferous Deposits and the Geochemistry departments, focusing on class material preparation and practical works from June 2014 to March 2016. Additional internship experience includes advanced exploration mapping at Cerro Cazador S.A. and participation in a field school with YPF, covering geological formations in the Neuquen Basin. Francis Gauman earned a degree in Geology from UNLPam from 2010 to 2016 and completed secondary education at Escuela secundaria n° 705 "Nestor Gonzales Salvatierra" between 2004 and 2009.
