Georgina Bartels

Georgina Bartels is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of People Operations and People Business Partners at Newmont Corporation since February 2018, Georgina previously held positions including Regional Manager of Organisational Effectiveness and Regional Talent Management Manager. Prior experience includes leading human resources for West and Central Africa at Damco and serving as Human Resources Manager & Director for West Africa at Philips. Georgina also has a strong foundation from airtel and Ecobank Ghana Limited, where responsibilities encompassed learning and development, recruitment, and managing HR needs in collaboration with business leaders. Georgina's educational background includes an MBA in Human Resources from Paris Graduate School of Management and SPHR Certification from HRCI, complemented by professional certifications and a BA in Psychology from the University of Ghana.
