Ing. Benard Aikins

Ing. Benard Aikins possesses extensive experience in asset and maintenance planning within the mining industry. Currently serving as Senior Asset Planner and Senior Maintenance Planner at Newmont Corporation since October 2018, Aikins has previously held the position of Training Coordinator at the Imperial College of Mines & Safety in Sierra Leone from March 2017 to October 2018. Prior roles include Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Planner at GOLD FIELDS from September 2011 to March 2018. Aikins holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from Coventry University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (2005-2009).
