Ing. Efam Boateng

Ing. Efam Boateng, PE-GhIE, is a highly skilled mining engineer with experience spanning several years in the mining industry. Currently serving as Mine Engineer III at Newmont Corporation since November 2018, Ing. Boateng has held various engineering positions within the company, including Mine Engineer II and Mine Engineer (Graduate Trainee). Prior experience includes a role as Mining Engineer during national service at GOLD FIELDS and internships at both GOLD FIELDS and Perseus Mining Limited, where Ing. Boateng gained exposure to diverse sections of mining operations such as drill and blast, mine planning, and geotechnical engineering. Ing. Boateng holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology and a Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability and Management from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana.
