Javier Malaga

Javier Malaga is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Supply Chain Innovation and Analytics at Newmont Mining Corporation since October 2006, where responsibilities include the development of overall supply chain strategy and global materials management. Prior to this role, Javier held positions such as Global Materials Manager and Global Supply Chain Solutions, focusing on technology roadmaps and solutions delivery. From 2001 to 2006, Javier worked at Minera Yanacocha as Supply Chain Performance Improvement Lead and began a career as an Inventory Analyst at Southern Peru Copper Corporation from 1999 to 2001. Javier's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, along with studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School, and an engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de San Agustín. Additionally, Javier has pursued advanced training at AOTS in Tokyo, Japan.
