Luke Temple

Luke Temple possesses extensive experience in global security, risk management, and community engagement. Since May 2016, Luke has held multiple roles at Newmont Corporation, including Principal Advisor for Global Security Risk & Governance and Global Health, Safety, and Security, overseeing travel security management and assisting in change management strategies. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Extension Worker with the Peace Corps, where Luke focused on improving income and food security in Tanzania, and as a Community Organizer for Dakota Rural Action, analyzing growth opportunities and providing briefings to legislators. Luke's career began with research on federal regulations at the Western Organization of Resource Councils. Luke holds a Master’s Degree in International Security from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Knox College.
