Meredith Lee

Meredith Lee is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Financial Controller and Director for Asia Pacific at Newmont Corporation since February 2019. In this role, Meredith leads diverse teams overseeing financial and management accounting, reporting, and governance across significant operations in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Southeast Asia, with a production output exceeding 2 million ounces of gold-equivalent per year. Prior to this, Meredith held various positions at Newmont Australia from January 2007 to January 2019, including Manager of Operational Performance & Business Partnering and Senior Advisor of Business Planning. Earlier career experience includes a role as Business Analyst and Consultant at Gemcom Software from May 2004 to January 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mineral Economics and an MBA from Curtin University, alongside a CPA certification and a Master of Accounting.
