Sally Goodman

Sally Goodman is a highly accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Vice President and Global Chief Geologist at Newmont Corporation since September 2019. Prior to this role, Sally held the position of Chief Geoscientist at Atlantic Gold Corporation and served as Director of Generative Geology and Director of Geology & Mineral Resources at Goldcorp Inc. Sally's career includes notable roles at CAE Mining and SRK Consulting, where expertise as an executive consultant and consultant geologist was demonstrated. Additionally, Sally has academic experience as a Research Associate and Sessional Lecturer at McGill University, as well as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. Educational credentials include an MSc and PhD in Geology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds.
