Tomás García

Tomás García has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tomás began their career at Apple Computer, where they held various positions from 1986 to 1994, including IT Manager and Large Account Marketing Manager. Tomás then joined QSystems as a Marketing Director and Co-founder, where they helped establish the company as a leading provider of editorial systems in the newspaper market. In 1996, García co-founded Briefing, an advertising agency that incorporated interactive internet systems into their services. Briefing was later sold to AGBAR.

In 2000, García became the CEO of Quin Team, an advertising group specialized in different areas of advertising communications. Tomás served in this role until 2011. During this time, García also became the CEO of What's On, a position they held from 2004 to 2011.

García joined Nuatt in 2005, co-founding the company with the aim of providing services to businesses interested in adapting to consumer trends. Nuatt was acquired by Publicis Healthcare Communications Group in 2011 to incorporate digital knowledge into their Spanish health-care agencies. García then took on the role of Executive Vice-President at Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, where they coordinated the orientation of three agencies towards the digital market.

In 2014, García became the CEO and Managing Director of People Who Global, an internet platform operating in several European countries. The platform was created as a spin-off of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group. Tomás held this position until 2019.

Most recently, García co-founded Newno in 2020 and assumed the role of CEO and Co-founder.

Tomás García attended INSEAD from 1991 to 1992, where they studied European Strategic management. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1989, they attended Esade and focused on Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Tomás's education history also includes a period from 1978 to 1981 when they studied Business studies at Universitat de Barcelona. Lastly, from 1975 to 1977, they attended IBM Spain and specialized in Information technology and software development.
