Kate Burkhardt has a solid background in marketing and project management. Kate started their career in 2010 as an Account Manager Intern at Pulse International. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at Dawson and as a Business Development Specialist on contract at BringShare, LLC. In 2014, they joined NetJets as a Marketing Database Specialist on contract. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager of Digital Marketing at SEO Exposed, where they worked until 2015. Since 2015, they have been working as a Marketing Manager at NewPath Child & Family Solutions (formerly St. Joseph Orphanage). Prior to their marketing career, they gained experience as a Quality Control Manager at Las Margaritas LLC and as a Collections Specialist Intern at The Wasserstrom Company.

Kate Burkhardt, BA, MPM, holds a Master's Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Capital University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Kate has also obtained several certifications. Kate completed ALICE Basic Recertification Training 2 for Schools from ALICE Training in March 2021 and ALICE Basic Recertification Training for Schools from the same institution in February 2020. Kate participated in a Management Bootcamp at St. Joseph Orphanage in September 2019.

Furthermore, Kate received ALICE Basic Certification Training for Schools from ALICE Training Institute in January 2019 and completed the Leadership Academy at St. Joseph Orphanage in September 2017. Kate also holds a certification in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI), which they obtained in June 2020.
