Michael Schamp

Michael Schamp is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate underwriting, currently serving as a Senior Underwriting Analyst at NewPoint Real Estate Capital since December 2021. Previously, Michael worked at Trimont Real Estate Advisors as an Underwriting Associate, where significant contributions included the closure of over 20 full underwrites valued at more than $1 billion and the development of comprehensive financial models for high-value real estate assets. Michael's experience also encompasses roles at CBRE as an Underwriting Analyst and Intern, focusing on market analysis and client presentations, as well as internships in business development and marketing that further honed analytical and strategic planning skills. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management from the University of Arkansas, completed in 2019.
