Christian joined the board in 2018 and is a member of the remuneration committee and has just completed his first year as vice chair of the board.
Christian focuses on supporting the association to achieve its potential, not just for everyone living in the homes, but also for the city of Newport and is aware of some of the significant challenges ahead of us, such as responding to the impact of climate change, supporting the ambitious new development programme, continuing to robustly modernise the existing stock, and most importantly ensuring that the residents are supported in the best way they can.
Christian believes Newport is one of the key gateways into Wales and is a vitally important economic settlement in South
Wales and is very proud to be Welsh, and a resident of the South Wales Valleys. Christian is a self-employed Regeneration and Management Consultant, supporting the public sector to deliver economic growth and a professional Civil Engineer with experience of being an active trade union representative and running his own business.
