Melanie Kiss

Melanie Kiss-Endicott currently serves as the Vice President of Coding Education at Shearwater Health, where responsibilities include overseeing coding education for over 1,000 scholars and managing an international team. In addition to this role, Melanie is a Hospital Board Commissioner for Newport Hospital and Health Services, providing community support and hospital oversight. As the Founder and CEO of Chicas Abroad, Melanie curates adventure travel experiences for women globally. Melanie has a significant academic presence as an adjunct professor at both Stephens College and Spokane Community College, teaching various courses within the Health Information sector. Prior to current roles, Melanie held multiple senior positions at AHIMA, focusing on international education and training in health information management and coding. Melanie Kiss-Endicott holds a B.A. in Health Information Management from Carroll College and an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix.
