Ashley Unrue

Ashley Unrue, CHS, CHSP, has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Regional Director of Sales for Newport Hospitality Group, Inc. since January 2019, after holding the position of Area Director of Sales for Hilton Garden Inn Columbia and TownePlace Suites SE Columbia. Prior to this, Ashley was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison from March 2016 to July 2023, and held various director and sales roles at Hampton Inn Downtown Columbia and Hilton Columbia Center from January 2010 to January 2016, as well as a sales manager position at Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison from August 2008 to January 2010. Ashley began a career in the education sector as a teacher at Riverland Hills Baptist PreSchool from August 2005 to August 2008. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina from 2004 to 2008, following graduation from James Island High School in 2004.
