Olivia Spry possesses a robust background in recreational therapy and fitness, currently serving as a Recreation Therapist at Newport News Behavioral Health Center since October 2018. Newport News Behavioral Health Center
Newport News Behavioral Health Center is a secure 108-bed residential treatment facility serving males and females, ages 11–18. The staff utilizes a cognitive behavioral treatment model that encourages youth to safely explore thoughts and feelings related to the development of positive and desirable behavior within their homes and communities. Our programs are designed to provide each individual resident quality mental health treatment in a safe and secure therapeutic environment. The new acute care facility is located adjacent to the residential treatment facility. The acute care program provides stabilization to children and adolescents, ages 8 to 17, who suffer from mental health crises. We strive to provide a positive and successful educational experience for our students by assisting them in developing their skills and academic learning strategies.
