Jeff Newsome

Jeff Newsome is a Junior Engineer at Newport Partners Consulting, where responsibilities include managing invoicing and data for a $33 million energy efficiency grant program. Prior experience includes serving as an Energy Auditor for the Regional Economic Community Action Program, managing residential energy projects, and volunteering with the Peace Corps, during which design of a gravity-fed aqueduct system in rural Panama was completed. As a Project Assistant for the New York State Weatherization Directors Association, Jeff coordinated compliance research and conducted a field study on energy savings in New York. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, along with a degree in Forest Resource & Environmental Engineering and a background in Liberal Arts & Science from Dutchess Community College.
