Richard Colton, CFA, CIM is a Portfolio Manager at Newport Private Wealth since June 2021. Previously, Richard held the same role at W.A. Robinson Asset Management Ltd. from January 2017 to June 2021. Prior to that, Richard worked as a Financial Advisor at companies like CIBC, RBC, HSBC, and Manulife Financial from 2008 to 2016. Richard holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from Queen's University and is a CFA Charterholder. Richard also obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. Additionally, Richard has completed various certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute and attended St. Andrew's College from 2000 to 2004.
