Timothy Marum

Timothy Marum has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for K-12 Math Curriculum Development at Portsmouth School District since August 2016. Marum previously held the position of Math Educator within the Portsmouth School Department from August 2007, aligning classroom instruction with Common Core State Standards (CCSSM) and developing formative assessments. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts, focusing on early algebra curriculum progression and mathematical educational reform. Marum holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a Master's degree from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island.
