Curtis Njabulo Mabaso

Curtis Njabulo Mabaso is an experienced mining professional with a background in risk and safety management. Currently serving as a Miner at Newrak Mining (Pty) Ltd since November 2016, Curtis previously worked as a learner miner at Samancor Chrome starting in February 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Risk and Safety Intern at AngloGold Ashanti from November 2012 to November 2013, where responsibilities encompassed implementing safety policies, training employees, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring legal compliance. Curtis began their career as a Trainee Overhead Linesman at Tractionel Enterprise from February 2010 to August 2012, focusing on the maintenance and construction of overhead traction equipment. Curtis holds a Safety Management Diploma from UNISA, earned between 2012 and 2014, and completed studies at Milner High School from 2005 to 2008.
