Spencer Mosness

Spencer Mosness has extensive experience in the legal and compliance field. Spencer started their career in 2007 as a Defense Clerk at ICTY. In 2009, they became a Partner at Costello, Porter, Hill, Heisterkamp, Bushnell & Carpenter, LLP until 2013. Following that, they served as General Counsel at Premier Home Mortgage, Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Spencer then joined Primary Capital Mortgage, LLC as SVP & General Counsel from 2016 to 2017. Afterwards, they worked as SVP and Deputy General Counsel at Stearns Lending from 2017 to 2018. In the same year, they became the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, which is a division of NewRez LLC. In 2020, they became the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Secretary at NewRez LLC. Currently, they hold the same positions at Caliber Home Loans, Inc. since 2021. Before their current role, they had been a General Counsel & Compliance Officer at Rithm Capital starting from November 2018.

Spencer Mosness holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and a J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, specializing in the field of Law. Spencer also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Economics and Spanish from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions from Washington University in St. Louis.
