Kathleen Riley

Kathleen Riley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kathleen is the founder and chief experience officer (CXO) of Kathleen Riley Photography since 2001, where they excel as a photojournalist, editor, and reporter, creating engaging and original content for various clients. Additionally, Kathleen established Roadside Tails in 2018, a dog-friendly travel business that focuses on destinations, activities, and unique lifestyles. Kathleen also works as a content writer for NewsBreak, writing articles about dog-friendly travel in Minnesota and beyond since 2021. In 2005, Kathleen founded Riley and Associates, where they served as the president/CEO, helping businesses achieve their marketing goals. Kathleen has also worked as the managing editor of The German Shepherd Dog Review from 2016 to 2018, successfully turning the publication's financial situation around. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they studied Animal Sciences and Naturalist at the University of Minnesota, although they did not obtain a degree. Kathleen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management/Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business in 1986.
