Amy Cao is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management. Currently serving as Performance Lead at News Corp Australia since July 2021, Amy focuses on enhancing team performance and supporting the Procurement team’s vision. Previous roles include Procurement Improvement Manager and Procurement Officer specializing in Technology at News Corp Australia, as well as Procurement Manager and Category Specialist at BGIS. Amy began a procurement career at the University of Melbourne, progressing from Procurement Specialist to Procurement Analyst, where notable achievements included leading sourcing initiatives that generated over $1 million in annual savings and managing high-value category reviews exceeding $10 million. Amy holds a Master of Commerce in Management and Consulting from Melbourne Business School.
