Tom Minear

Tom Minear is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the US correspondent for News Corp Australia since August 2022, covering major metro mastheads such as Sydney's Daily Telegraph, Melbourne's Herald Sun, Brisbane's Courier-Mail, and Adelaide's Advertiser. Prior to this role, Tom Minear held various positions at Herald Sun from June 2013 to August 2022, including National Political Editor and State Political Editor. Earlier experience includes roles as a National Political Reporter, State Political Reporter, and Trainee Journalist with News Corp Australia, as well as freelance journalism for AFL Record and handle magazine from 2008 to 2012. Tom Minear obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Melbourne from 2009 to 2012.
