James A. McBratney

James A. McBratney, CPA, currently serves as the VP of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy at News Corp since March 2020. Previously, McBratney held the position of Financial Reporting Manager at Acreage Holdings from August 2018 to March 2020, where responsibilities included leading the conversion from IFRS to US GAAP and overseeing the preparation of financial statements that facilitated a public listing. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of External Reporting at Viacom Inc. from June 2014 to August 2018, focusing on SEC filings and financial analysis, as well as an Experienced Senior in Audit at EisnerAmper LLP from September 2010 to June 2014, where McBratney conducted audits for various clients. McBratney holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Information Analysis and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics, both from Lehigh University.
