R. Brandon Sokol

R. Brandon Sokol is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions within the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of Corporate Development and M&A at News Corp since October 2017, Sokol previously held senior roles at Mediaocean, Tribune Media, Empirical Media, ZelnickMedia/ZM Capital, and J.P. Morgan. At Mediaocean, Sokol executed key strategic initiatives and closed multiple acquisitions, while at Tribune Media, Sokol sourced and executed significant M&A opportunities across the company's diverse portfolio. Sokol holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from DePauw University.
