Tim Morrissey

Tim Morrissey is an experienced sports journalist and editor with a robust background in sportswriting and management. Currently serving as the National Deputy Sports Editor and Sports Commercial Editor at News Corp since July 2020, Morrissey previously held the position of Head of Sport at the Daily and Sunday Telegraph from March 2014 to July 2020. Prior roles include Sports Editor at The Sunday Telegraph, Deputy Editor and Chief of Staff in the sports section at The Daily Telegraph, and a journalist at News Corp. Morrissey has also played professional basketball for teams such as the Sydney Kings, Canberra Cannons, and Wollongong Hawks. Academic credentials include a BA and MA in Sociology from the University of Wollongong.
