Ion Vizitiu

Ion Vizitiu is an experienced software engineer currently employed at News UK since February 2020, where career progression includes roles as Junior and Associate Software Engineer. Prior to this, Ion held the position of International Transport Dispatcher at Eurotrucks SK SRO, an international transport company affiliated with DANDOY.BE, from March 2016 to December 2019. Additionally, leadership experience was gained as the Head of the Logistics Department at FORTIGO GROUP Moldova from July 2014 to December 2015, overseeing freight operations and supply chain management. Educational qualifications include a Software Developer Apprenticeship from Makers, and advanced degrees in Operating Technologies in Transport and Real Estate from the Technical University of Moldova, along with language studies at the Goethe Institut Bratislava.
