Nick Carney

Nick Carney has had an extensive career in the media industry, starting in 1999 as a Group Head at Wilmington Publishing & Information Ltd. Nick then worked as a Sales Manager at Express Newspapers from 2004 to 2007 before joining The Telegraph as a Senior Sales Manager in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, Nick held the position of Senior Sales Manager at Express Newspapers before moving on to The Independent, where they served as a Senior Sales Manager from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they became a Group Head at ESI Media from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Nick works at News UK, where they have held various roles, including Group Head from 2015 to 2018, Head of News for Sun & Times, Sunday Times from 2018 to 2020, and currently as the Head of News for The Sun since August 2020.
