Alex Dostaler is an accomplished producer at NewsChannel 5 Network, recognized as a 2023 Midsouth Emmy Winner for a morning newscast. With experience as an associate producer, Alex has contributed to writing and producing five nightside shows and has edited video and audio for prominent weekend broadcasts. Previous roles include multimedia journalist, digital producer, and news and sports anchor at KOMU-TV, where stories were often featured as lead segments. Alex began a journalism career at KBIA 91.3 FM, producing local segments for NPR's "All Things Considered." Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2016.
