Anastasia Tcherepova

Anastasia Tcherepova is an accomplished news producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving at NewsChannel 5 Network since November 2021, Anastasia has received multiple accolades including a 2023 Nashville/Midsouth Emmy Award for the evening newscast coverage of The Covenant School shooting, along with a nomination for the same event honoring the victims. Additional honors encompass a 2024 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for breaking news coverage and recognition from the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters for Best Evening Newscast in a large market. Previously, Anastasia held producer roles at WRCB-TV and WATE 6 On Your Side, and began the career as an intern at WRCB-TV. Anastasia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
