Carson Metcalf

Carson Metcalf is a skilled meteorologist with extensive experience in broadcasting, currently serving at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since April 2023. Prior to this role, Carson worked at Spectrum News for six years, from March 2017 to March 2023, further honing meteorological expertise. Carson began a career in education as a substitute teacher for grades 9-12 at Fulton City School District from December 2014 to June 2017. An alumnus of State University of New York at Oswego, Carson holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics, earned between 2012 and 2016. Academic achievements include a New York State Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors and 32 college credits from G. Ray Bodley High School, completed in 2012.
