Dave Longley

Dave Longley has extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as Digital Content Manager at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since March 2022. Longley has been with WSYR since May 1992, holding positions as Meteorologist and Chief Meteorologist. Prior to the current role, Longley was Assistant News Director and Digital Director at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. from January 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing a newsroom operation of over 50 professionals and planning special projects. Longley's career also includes a tenure as a Meteorologist at iHeartMedia from October 1995 to December 2016. Longley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the State University of New York at Oswego, completed between 1991 and 1994.
