Grant Debruin

Grant deBruin is an experienced television news producer and fill-in anchor with a career spanning over 15 years in various roles across multiple news organizations. Currently serving as the Eleven at 11:00 Producer at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since August 2015, Grant is responsible for producing late newscasts and selecting the stories for each show. Previously, Grant held the position of 11pm Producer at WKYC-TV, where responsibilities included assigning reporters and crafting compelling newscasts. Grant also co-produced the top-rated Daybreak morning program at WGRZ and has experience as a producer and web producer at WKTV NewsChannel 2. Early career positions included reporting and producing at KRBC-TV and serving as a news and production assistant at WSYR NewsChannel 9. Academic credentials include an M.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University and a B.A. in Communications from Le Moyne College.
