Maddie Mustion

Maddie Mustion is currently serving as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since August 2023. Prior to this position, Maddie completed a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism with a focus on Sports from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and worked as a graduate student there from July 2022 to August 2023. Experience includes reporting and hosting at My Michigan TV, where Maddie covered local news and co-hosted "Larry & Maddie Live." Previous roles include a Marketing Intern at Intersport, Co Executive Producer for Wolverine Women, and a crew member for the Big Ten Network, all contributing to extensive knowledge in sports media production and journalism. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Michigan and a high school diploma from Marian High School-Bloomfield Hills.
