George Welch

George Welch is an accomplished educator and business professional with extensive experience in academic and consulting roles. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and former Faculty Chair of the Construction Management Programs at NewSchool of Architecture & Design since 2008, George actively engages in both curriculum development and faculty governance. In addition, George is the Managing Director of Solutus Group, LLC, a business consulting firm, and operates a real estate brokerage that offers services in various Illinois areas. George's prior positions include leadership roles with ACE/Mentor San Diego, Kendall College Charitable Trust Foundation, and Hawk Lake Homes, Inc. With a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, George possesses a strong academic foundation alongside a diverse professional background.
