Aileen Ro

Aileen Ro, MAT, currently serves as a Senior Product Designer at Newsela since July 2023 and previously worked as a UX Designer at Formative from March 2022 to July 2023. Aileen's background in education includes roles as a Science Teacher and ASB Advisor at Pacific Trails Middle School, where effective curriculum adaptation and leadership development were key contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aileen also gained experience as a Student Teacher at Rosemont Middle School and Burbank High School. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wellesley College and a Master of Teaching from the University of Southern California.
