Aura Martinez-Rene

Aura Martinez-Rene is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in people operations and benefits management. Currently serving as a Senior People Partner at Newsela since July 2017, Aura has held multiple roles within the company, including HR Business Partner and Benefits Manager. Before joining Newsela, Aura worked as a Payroll and Benefits Manager on a contract basis at Eyeview and served as an HR Generalist and Total Rewards Manager at Princeton Securities Group from January 2005 to September 2016. Aura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from SUNY Empire State College, obtained between 2007 and 2010.
