Julia Bromberg

Julia Bromberg serves as the Curriculum Lead at Newsela since July 2022, previously holding the position of Academic Design Manager at Imagine Learning. With extensive experience in educational design and teaching, Julia has contributed significantly to curriculum and instruction, working collaboratively across teams to implement effective learning strategies. Julia's earlier roles at Newsela included Learning Designer and Instructional Designer, where responsibilities encompassed developing pedagogical guidelines and producing instructional resources. Additionally, Julia has experience as Managing Director at Huntington Learning Center, overseeing training and marketing activities, and has taught social studies at various high schools. Julia holds a Master of Education in Learning Sciences from National Louis University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching of History from the University of Illinois Chicago.
