Richard Sambrook

Richard Sambrook is a Senior Advisor and a member of NewsGuard’s Advisory Board focused on NewsGuard’s ratings and nutrition labels for websites covering news in the UK. Sambrook is Professor of Journalism at Cardiff University and a Senior research associate at The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University. Previously, he worked for 30 years at BBC News as a producer, editor and manager. He was consecutively Director of Sport, Director of News and Director of Global News and the World Service.
