Eli Assoolin has a long history of experience with various companies in the tech industry. Eli began their career in 1990 as a CAD Engineer for Motorola Semiconductor. Eli then moved to I.C.COM (Infineon) in 1996, where they were the CAD Manager. In 1999, they became a Senior Applications Engineer for Magma Design Automation. In 2002, they became the CAD & Backend Manager for TransChip. In 2005, they moved to Intel BWD Israel, where they were the CAD & Backend Manager. From 2006 to 2013, they were the Director of VLSI technologies & CAD and Director of WW CAD at DSP Group. In 2013, they became the Owner of Maple Technologies Ltd. In 2020, they were appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors at Virusight Diagnostic, an AI software company. In 2021, they became Board Chairman & Acting CEO of Watersight, a company focused on water monitoring. Lastly, they have been the CEO & Co-founder of Newsight Imaging since 2016, where they develop advanced CMOS Image sensor chips for 3D machine vision and spectral analysis.
Eli Assoolin obtained an Executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, a P.E in Computer Science from Colman management college, and attended mae boyar high school Jerusalem.
