Mike O'Neill

Mike O’Neill leads Fundraising efforts across all investment strategies at NewSpring. He is responsible for all aspects of capital formation strategy and execution, building relationships with existing and prospective investors, and investor due diligence.

After a professional hockey career, Mike transitioned to financial services where he has over 20 years of experience. Most recently, he was a Partner at Oakpoint Advisors and managed the firm’s institutional capital marketing business and oversaw all aspects of capital formation.

Prior to that, Mike was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners where he marketed the firm’s products and services to family offices.

Mike received a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
