Geraldine Herbert is a seasoned motoring journalist and editor with extensive experience across various media platforms. Since September 2012, Geraldine has served as the Motoring Editor and contributing columnist for the Sunday Independent, while also being a jury member for the Women's World Car Of The Year since April 2012. Geraldine actively contributes to multiple radio and TV stations, including RTE and BBC Radio, and has held the position of Motoring Correspondent for Newstalk 106-108 since September 2015. As the founder of Wheelsforwomen.co.uk and Wheelsforwomen.ie, Geraldine promotes women in motoring. Additional roles include serving as a motoring expert for Good Housekeeping Magazine (UK), a columnist for Irish Country Magazine until December 2016, and a former editor of Auto Ireland Magazine. Academically, Geraldine holds a PhD in Computer Science, an M.Phil in Computational Linguistics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics, and a BSc in Business and IT, all from Trinity College Dublin.
