The media Newstikitaka was born in 2020 on the Instagram platform launched by Pierre Armas, born in Barcelona, to relay the news of FC Barcelona. The same year the Twitter account is created. 

The media’s objective is to bring the French-speaking audience closer to the reality that fans live in Barcelona by creating content on site. 

In 2022, the media launched the creation of audiovisual content on YouTube and Tiktok. 

In July 2024, Newstikitaka gets his first interview with Javier Mascherano, an Argentine ex-international who played more than 300 matches under the blue flag jersey during the preparation for the Olympic Games of Paris 2024. The same year, the media reached 100k subscribers on the platform Tiktok.

In January 2025 www.newstikitaka.fr is launched to relay the news of the first team, the women’s Barça and the Atlètic/Masia Barça.
