George Szabo

George Szabo has a diverse and extensive work experience. George is currently working as an Android Engineer at NewStore, Inc. where they help retail brands accelerate their digital transformation by creating amazing shopping experiences. Prior to that, George worked as an Android Developer at Highstreet Mobile, where they developed unique app-as-a-service platforms for fashion brands.

Before their role at Highstreet Mobile, George worked at CodeYard Kft. as an Android Developer and Business Development Manager. George also gained experience as an Associate Consultant at GuideSmiths, where they worked until July 2017.

George's work experience also includes being a Smart City Expert at EDC Debrecen Urban and Economic Development Center. In this role, they focused on finding innovative smart solutions for Debrecen to become the leading sustainable and most liveable Smart City in Central and Eastern Europe.

Early in their career, George was a Lotus Notes/Domino Administrator at IT-Services Hungary Kft. There, they supported Daimler's Lotus Domino environment and also dedicated time to organization development initiatives, such as six sigma projects and talent management.
