Gio Stoppiello

Gio Stoppiello is currently the CFO at NewsWhip. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Financial Times from July 2008 to October 2014. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the restructuring of newspaper print production, advertising sales and product distribution functions. Gio was also responsible for overseeing the global real estate function and procurement processes.

Before their time at the Financial Times, Gio Stoppiello served as the Head of Business Finance at the BBC from January 1998 to February 2008. In this role, they were responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic direction for the BBC’s businesses. Gio was also responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of financial plans and policies.

Gio Stoppiello has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds.
