Jennifer Merritt, APRP, currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Digital Banking at Newtek Bank, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Jennifer amassed significant experience at Live Oak Bank from July 2017 to November 2023, where responsibilities included Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations Lead and Head of Deposit Operations. Early career roles at First Bank (FBNC) and Wells Fargo provided foundational experience in customer service and treasury operations. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earned in 2010.
