Chuck Proia serves on the Board of Directors for the John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton since September 2013 and has been the Festival Chairman for the St Mary of Carmen Society, Inc. since 2006. In addition, Chuck Proia has extensive experience as a Firefighter/EMT with the Newton Fire Department, a position held since June 1998. Educationally, Chuck Proia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Anna Maria College between 2011 and 2014, along with an Associate's Degree in Management from Massachusetts Bay Community College.
