Guy Warmington has extensive work experience in operational risk management, with a focus on investment banking. Guy was the Head of Operational Risk at Newton Investment Management starting in 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Director in the Operational Risk Management team for their Investment Banking division from 2013 to 2017. Guy also served as a Senior Operational Risk Manager at Global Markets (Equities), HSBC from 2010 to 2013. Before that, they held the role of Head of Portfolio Implementation at M&G Investment Management from 2007 to 2009. Guy began their career as an Equity Derivative Specialist at Henderson Global Investors Ltd in 1999, where they managed derivative overlays, protected growth funds, and executed index protection strategies.

Guy Warmington attended Charterhouse from 1985 to 1990. From 1991 to 1995, they studied at the University of Exeter, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Spanish.
